This programme represents a holistic approach to student growth, designed to prepare our young learners for the diverse challenges and opportunities of the modern world.

In today’s dynamic environment, education is no longer confined to textbooks and classrooms. The Ridgeway 360° programme embraces this broader perspective by fostering academic, social, physical, and mental development. Our aim is to guide students through a transformative journey, equipping them with the skills, resilience, and vision to thrive in an ever-evolving landscape.

Here are the key pillars of the Ridgeway 360° Student Development Award:

Academic Excellence: At the heart of Ridgeway 360° lies our commitment to academic achievement. Through innovative teaching methods, personalised learning, and tailored support systems, we encourage each student to reach their full potential. Our curriculum is designed to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and intellectual curiosity, nurturing a passion for lifelong learning.

Social Engagement: We believe that strong interpersonal skills and a sense of community are essential for personal growth. Through collaborative projects, extracurricular activities, and community service, students will develop empathy, leadership, and teamwork skills. Ridgeway 360° offers opportunities for meaningful engagement that broaden perspectives and inspire a sense of responsibility towards society.

Physical Well-being: A healthy body is crucial to maintaining a healthy mind. Our programme promotes physical well-being through sports, arts clubs, fitness activities, and outdoor challenges. Whether participating in team sports or individual pursuits, students will build discipline, resilience, and a sense of accomplishment—helping them adopt habits that support lifelong health and wellness.

Mental Resilience: In an increasingly complex world, developing emotional strength is essential. Ridgeway 360° integrates mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and access to counselling to support emotional well-being. By fostering resilience and teaching coping strategies, we empower students to face challenges with confidence and grace.

We are incredibly excited about the Ridgeway 360° Student Development Award and the positive impact it will have on our students. We invite you to join us on this transformative journey towards nurturing well-rounded, confident, and compassionate individuals who are prepared to lead and succeed in an ever-changing world.

So how will the award work?

The Ridgeway 360° Student Development Award will be tracked using each student’s personal Award Passport. This passport will document their progress across the key areas of the programme: Academic Excellence, Social Engagement, Physical Well-being, and Mental Resilience. During weekly tutor time, students will review their progress with their tutors, receiving support and guidance as they work towards their goals.

To complete each stage of the award, students must submit evidence of their participation and achievements. This can be done by dropping physical evidence into the designated drop box at Student Services, or electronically via email to [email protected].

Guidance for each activity, along with submission requirements, is available in the poster and links below, ensuring students have the resources they need to succeed. By tracking their progress, students will stay motivated and focused, while gaining recognition for their commitment to personal development.
