Summer Activities

Dear parent/carer,

I am writing to you in my capacity as Head of Foreign Languages to speak briefly about a fantastic opportunity for the first week of the summer holidays.

As part of the broadening of our curriculum in offering our students access to a multicultural, multi-faceted approach to learning about different cultures and languages, we have been successful in establishing a partnership with an extremely successful and very popular language school in Poland. I helped to establish and set up this school with the Director of the School in October 2013. I worked there for approximately two years. The school has grown massively and there is now a growing need for their students to experience life and our culture. This a perfect opportunity both for them and for us, as a school, to get to know a different culture, giving us an insight into how they approach things- even view the world- relative to how we view it.

To this aim, we now wish to cooperate and move forward with the establishment of, one hopes, a long term link with this school. The school is called, “The Best Skola”. You can read more information about it via their Facebook or website

The idea is that they will spend the mornings of their time at our school and then complete trips locally in the afternoon.  If you are interested in your child attending any of these days, please can you email me directly (, so I can get an idea of numbers. There are limited places for our students (16 in total). There are sixty Polish students coming.
