Dear Parents, Carers and Pupils,
During the final week of half term, the week beginning Monday 8th February, all pupils in Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 will be taking part in Subject Enrichment sessions. These sessions will take place during lesson 5 (2-3pm) each day. During these sessions, students are to select their enrichment activities from the timetable below. Pupils can choose to do as many activities as they can during the lesson time or take the whole hour to enjoy just one activity. We hope that this will bring welcome time away from the screen and from home learning. Please get in touch with child’s Head of Key Stage if you are worried about your child.
Each day has a different theme, allowing pupils to experience a variety of activities. This is an excellent opportunity for pupils to enjoy some time away from a screen, time to stretch your legs or an opportunity to try something different. Although Friday is an INSET day we have included suggestions of service activities you could complete during the day or over half term.
KS4 will have one enrichment session on Thursday afternoon 11th February and they will have 2 competitions to participate in. Details will be emailed directly to KS4.
We hope you take this opportunity to enjoy a variety of different activities and reflect on another busy half term. Well done for your continued commitment to your online learning during another challenging half term. Watch out for more enrichment opportunities coming soon! We are so proud of our students and thank you to all of you who are helping and supporting your children. We are in this together and every day is step closer to the world being more normal.
