We are pleased to welcome theatre events for our Year 6 and 7 students.
This drama is called “Virtual Reality” – a cautionary tale of young people and social media. It tells the story of an 11 year old who starts to get distracted by many aspects of the World Wide Web and begins to explore age-inappropriate games, Facebook, Instagram, SNAP chat and other social media sites.
After the play, there is a follow-up discussion about the issues in the play and students reflecting upon their own gadget time.
There are many pitfalls that our students need support with and this drama provides students with clear messages as to what is right and wrong on the internet.
The PS Productions are coming to perform at our school on Wednesday 6th June. We are asking for a cost of £1 per ticket to pay for the performance.
Please pay via parent pay at parentpay.com or send your child with the £1 on the day of the performance. Should you wish to see the performance yourself then this can be arranged. Please contact the school office for details.
